With any big change to an established routine comes many mixed feelings. Those of us who are attending the weekly meetings to discuss and plan the new service are excited. Of course not everyone we talk with shares our excitement. Some are apprehensive about loosing what we already have. Others are confused as to why we'd even want or need another service. There are probably others who are completely uninterested in the whole process.
I pray that this blog will serve as a place for the St. Stephen's community to answer their questions about the new service, find information about the progress of planning, and offer their thoughts and feedback about the whole process. May the Holy Spirit guide us all on this journey of expanding the vocabulary of our worship.

Thanks, Michael, for a wonderful site!
Here are some music links folks might want to consider:

This is a GREAT site Michael! I'm working on the minutes, so when they're done I'll see if I have "authority" to post!

I've added my list of "Worship Alternative Resources" to my "Spiralibrary" blog. (It's long & I didnt' want to bog down this one)

Jan,
I'd like to keep the meeting minutes linked as googleDocs on the front page so they don't get lost as the posts to the blog grow. If you'd like to add a link to your minutes or email them to me, I'd be happy to link them.
thanks for this, Michael! Good site. I'm on a tight schedule today, so can't read it all, but it's great to see up and running. And I really like the "3rd Service Central" title.
